*Complete the application and return along with the a high resolution color photograph to: californiadirector_ethnicworldpageants.com.
* Upon application review and approval, candidate will then be invited to pay the registration fee. Once this is complete the candidate will then be recognized as an Official Delegate of the Calilfornia Ethnic World Pageant.
When do I enter?
June 1, 2012 is the deadline for all delegate entries. All entry fees must be paid in full by this date.
Deadlines are strictly enforced.
Late Penalty: Entrant understands and agrees to the following penalty for late submission of the required items, including paperwork, photography and full payment of fees by posted deadlines: A total of 1 point per day per late item is deducted from the delegates total score.
Is there an entry fee?
We regret that we must charge an entry fee. The California Ethnic World Pageant is self-supporting and relies solely upon entry fees and sponsors to cover production expenses. The entry fee is $375.
What does this fee include?
Approximately half of the entry fee is directed back to each delegate in the form of the Official Sash, Meals, Entertainment, Sightseeing, Parties, Gifts, and Prizes.

What does the remainder of my entry fee pay for?
The cost to produce the California Ethnic World Pageant is very costly. The remainder of your entry fee pays for the prizes, and lodging for the Judges, production staff, venue, hotel rentals, printing, entertainment, choreography, production staff, sound and lighting, stage decorations and many additional operational expenses.
May I seek a sponsor?
You may seek sponsors or you may pay the entry fee yourself.
What forms of payment are accepted?
You may pay the entry fee via money order, cashiers check, electronic check, credit card or debit card with the Visa/MasterCard logo. Personal checks will be accepted at this time.

Is a payment plan available?
Yes. Delegates may pay their entry fee in full or may select a payment plan. A $200.00 deposit is required to initiate a payment plan. Payments of any amount must be made at least every 30 days until the total fee is received. Failure to remit payment every 30 days may result in loss of title and fees paid. Delegate's title will be assigned and the sash will be ordered only after California Ethnic World has received payment in full. Entire entry fee must be paid in full by June 1, 2012.
If I am unable to compete, will I be issued a refund?
No. Due to extremely high production costs, we are not able to return any payments. Please make sure that you are able to participate in the state pageant before sending any funds.
Am I required to sell ads for the program book?
No. Program book ad sales are completely optional but they are a way to offset pageant costs (i.e. entry fees, wardrobe, etc). Many delegates do sell at least one page of advertisements as the program book is a great keepsake.
What kind of prizes can I win?
There is a guaranteed cash prize of $3,000 for each division. Additional prize packages are constantly changing as new sponsors come aboard. Currently the package includes: $3,000 cash, a custom jewelry set from Crystal Coral Seas Jewelry, a makeup consultation and customized skincare from Saint James Cosmetics and an image consulting session with Kristi Speiser Image Consultants. Do all delegates receive a sash?
Yes. The official California Ethnic World sash is included in the entry fee.
How long does it take to get my sash?
The order will be placed for your sash immediately upon receipt of payment in full of your entry fee. Sashes take about 3-4 weeks. If you have or are scheduling appearances and need it sooner, just let us know so that we can put a rush on the order or have the sash shipped directly to you instead of our headquarters. In these cases you will be asked to pay the rush fee and/or shipping costs.
